It’s the use of sound as a tool to cultivate and support deep relaxation. There are different kinds of instruments used, but ultimately the purpose is to create a gentle, yet powerful, experience that heals the body, clears the mind and heightens your meditation practice by helping to rein in your attention to the present.
How is it different from other types of Meditation?
While regular meditation requires you to count your breaths, visualize something or repeat a mantra in your head, in silence; sound meditation gives you sound and vibrations to focus on. It enables you to bring your awareness to the present in a way that’s a lot quicker and easier.
What is Sound Healing?
In short, it's a practice that uses vibrations (vocal or instrumental-like gongs, Tibetan singing bowls and tuning forks) in order to relax your mind and body.

Agustian Supriatna
Agustian Supriatna is a multitalented artist and musician based in Ubud. Born in the deep jungle of Lampung in 1981, he came from a traditional healer lineage connected to the nature and wildlife of Sumatra island. Being chosen as a healer from a young age, he dedicated himself to be in the service of his village’s people. Everything he learned was passed on to him from his grandfather, the legendary elderly healer Datuk Raja Jaksa. Along the way he found his voice and became successful and recognised in international art scenes. Still, it took him 20 years of self-development until he claimed back his legacy as a healer to share this gift with others. Through music, he found the soulful media to invite people into the healing journey.
