Balance and Boundaries Series

Establishing and maintaining healthy boundaries is the optimal way that we take care of ourselves, on and off the mat. With boundaries we are mindful and respective of our limitations – the extent to which we push ourselves – be it through asana or in our relationships with others. An over-extension of boundaries will eventually throw us off-balance which at a physiological level can result in dis-ease in the long run.  
 
The intention behind this 4-class series is to bring awareness to the extent to which we are honoring our boundaries. The series progresses from a very basic level hatha practice to a more rigorous standing series that focuses on maintaining our balance – literally.

Nadine McNeil

Nadine McNeil’s twenty-odd year career within the United Nations, serving at locations across the globe, is what guided her towards yoga, primarily as a necessary tool for self-care while serving in volatile, conflict scenarios. Her current mission includes designing and implementing a yoga module that especially supports those who tirelessly serve others through their daily work.
