NADINE MCNEIL

HATHA YOGA

INTERMEDIATE

30 MIN

Based upon the teachings of Sivananda. In the beginning Nadine shares some breath techniques as well as eye exercises for additional practice for restless and stressful eyes. She invites you to enjoy your favourite aromatherapy oil, as she uses Peppermint to help open up nasal passages before pranayam breathing. Start with an alternate nostril breathing technique, Nadi Shodhana to balance the left and right hemispheres of the brain, calming the central nervous and adrenal system. Feel the benefits of eye exercises offering more internal and external focus. The flow is gentle but strong, activating the abdominals, lengthening side body, lower back strength with floor backbends and grounding into reclined butterfly pose.
