NADINE MCNEIL

HATHA YOGA

INTERMEDIATE

30 MIN

Start and finish this practice arriving in your own skin enjoying the peace and centered energy of sitting in Sukasana and the connection to Mother Earth, opening to give and receive. Starting in your seated Sukasana position, begin to connect to the breath and find your breath alignment as you settle and ground down. Set an intention for the practice, what would you like to see shift, change and evolve and what are you ready to accept as it is? This class, like the reggae tunes, feels smooth and light. As you start to flow, feel the core warm and enjoy the lift in your heart from the rhythm. Grounding, this sequence will allow you to relax the mind, move close to the ground but close you feeling integrated and strong. As an open level hatha yoga practice this is an ideal morning practice.
Props required: bolster, cushion or thick blanket.
