This class is consist of breath work to engage deep abdominal muscles, yoga poses to activate and condition the core, as well as deep stretching (lengthening) and strengthening of surrounding muscle groups, especially the upper body parts. Instructed mindfully to make it saver and accessible for most of us. As a bonus, we work on 3 variations of crow poses: bala bakasana, kakasana and bakasana.

Be mindful!The classes are not a mandatory yet an invitation. Always suit yourself to your own limit. Take any resting position if necessary or even modify as your wish. The most important thing to keep your breath flow: stable, steady and nice. You can cheat the body, never on your breath.  Props needed: 2 blocks. This class is for intermediate practitioner.

Meet the instructor

Thofan Meninao

Thofan was introduced to yoga at The Yoga Barn in 2015 with Emily Kuser’s 200 hour High Vibe Yoga YTT. There he fell in love with the practice and saw yoga as a lifestyle he wanted to adopt. He learnt from many teachers such as Mark Whitwell, Bex Tyrer, Tina Nance, Mei Lai Swan, Balsundra Srinatha and many more. Since 2018, he has been teaching yoga with a focus on the practice of mindfulness.
