DANCE

ALL LEVELS

15 MIN

Dancehall is a music type named after the Jamaican party halls. In Dancehall dance there are tree main styles which are called Social Spiritual , Female / Queen style, and Badmon style. In this 15-min class we are focusing on the female dancehall steps. Culturally, females can do any dancehall styles but the males can not do the female dancehall steps. That’s why in female dancehall songs it usually starts with ‘’fi di gyal dem’’. Sexy and feminine movements are very healing  and speak from our emotional center of the body, our hips. This is hot and fun! Ladies, experience the freedom of feeling sexy in your very own body, own it! Here is a recommended playlist.
