This 10-min  practice is about learning how to use and activate your core and synchronize that strength with your arms. The benefits from this class are strengthening the core, upper back, groin muscles, upper arms, forearms and wrists. Also to improve balance and body awareness. 

Precautions/Contraindications: Women during menstruation or those with high blood pressure.

Meet the instructor

Marcus Wistika

I Wayan Wistika a.k.a. Marcus Wistika is a Balinese yoga teacher and practitioner from Tabanan. With experience running yoga and cooking retreats, he later was employed by GHM Management that operates luxury resorts in Kuta, Seminyak and Ubud. After completing his 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Vibrant Living Yoga (Daniel Aaron) in 2006, he began teaching at The Yoga Barn, where he still primarily teaches. Wayan Marcus specialises in teaching Vinyasa Flow, Power Yoga and Hatha. He also teaches at many luxurious resorts throughout Bali like Como Shambala, The Chedi and The Uma.
