Restorative Yoga adalah bagian dari Yin Yoga, yang bersifat pasif, hampir tanpa usaha, meditative dan tenang. 'Target' latihan ini adalah mendatangkan rasa nyaman dan aman pada tubuh dan pikiran. Kata kunci latihan ini adalah rasa nyaman dan tenang. 

Latihan ini sangat baik dilakukan bagi mereka yang stress, burnout, terlalu banyak pikiran, depresi, trauma dsb yang berkaitan erat dengan kelelahan mental/pikiran. Lakukan Restorative Yoga, sebelum tidur, ketika break dari rapat/conference yang melelahkan pikiran atau setelah seharian kerja. 

Props yang digunakan 1 yoga mat, 2 bolster (bisa lebih dan boleh diganti bantal guling), 2 selimut (boleh lebih), 2 blocks. Tak ketinggalan musik yang tenang dan meditative, pengharum ruangan (dupa, sage, air freshener, dsb.) ataupun essence oil yang bersifat menenangkan pikiran.

Meet the instructor

Thofan Meninao

Thofan was introduced to yoga at The Yoga Barn in 2015 with Emily Kuser’s 200 hour High Vibe Yoga YTT. There he fell in love with the practice and saw yoga as a lifestyle he wanted to adopt. He learnt from many teachers such as Mark Whitwell, Bex Tyrer, Tina Nance, Mei Lai Swan, Balsundra Srinatha and many more. Since 2018, he has been teaching yoga with a focus on the practice of mindfulness.
