Dalam latihan yoga, hal yang terpenting adalah pernafasan. Bagaimana kita menggabungkan nafas dengan gerakan gerakan tertentu dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri. Fokus pada kelas yoga ini adalah paha, perut dan lengan yaitu tiga bagian vital yang harus di latih untuk membantu meringankan beban di pergelangan tangan dan kaki. Waktu yang terbaik untuk melakukan latihan ini adalah pagi hari saat perut masih kosong dan udara bersih, bisa juga pada sore hari. Props yang diperlukan adalah block, bolster dan streps. Perhatian: beberapa gerakan harus di lakukan dengan benar dan tidak disarankan untuk ibu hamil. Untuk lutut, bisa dibantu dengan menaruh handuk atau cusion di bawah.

Meet the instructor

Marcus Wistika

I Wayan Wistika a.k.a. Marcus Wistika is a Balinese yoga teacher and practitioner from Tabanan. With experience running yoga and cooking retreats, he later was employed by GHM Management that operates luxury resorts in Kuta, Seminyak and Ubud. After completing his 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Vibrant Living Yoga (Daniel Aaron) in 2006, he began teaching at The Yoga Barn, where he still primarily teaches. Wayan Marcus specialises in teaching Vinyasa Flow, Power Yoga and Hatha. He also teaches at many luxurious resorts throughout Bali like Como Shambala, The Chedi and The Uma.
