In this 45-min class, Winé will guide you to a yoga practice especially formulated for pregnant women. Practicing yoga during pregnancy is a great way to relieve tension and prepare the body for birth. The breathing techniques will allow the mother to connect with her body, and aid in her labor. Besides being great for the body, health and endurance, this yoga practice will increase flexibility in the hips and joints, preparing the body for the additional weight. Non-pregnant women as well as partners are also welcome to join this class to gain knowledge on movements that are safe and beneficial for pregnant mothers.
Props Needed: block (one or two), blanket, bolster or cushion, yoga strap.
