The Yoga Synergy practice focuses on activating muscle groups. The cleverly designed sequences incorporates balancing poses, micro movements, hand mudras and unique linking movements. Together they achieve a graceful practice that allows muscle stiffness and soreness to soften and build strength over time, without tensing.
The three classes in this series build on to each other, gradually adding more poses and offering more complex variations. Even the affluent practitioner will appreciate the sequence when proper muscle activation is felt with awareness.
Oksana Sokol
Oksana is a 500 hour certified yoga teacher with Radiantly Alive, 85 hours Prenatal with Jennifer Wolfe and 200 hours with Yoga Synergy. She has studied Iyengar, Tripschore, Ashtanga and Jivamukti among other styles with different teachers worldwide. From Australia she has lived in Ubud, Bali for the last 10 years. She is the founder of Suly Yoga Shala at the Bali Global Foundation where underprivileged local students are given the opportunity to learn yoga. Her discovery of the Yoga Synergy method of teaching opened up a whole new level of understanding of anatomy and physiology of applied yoga, which has now become her main inspiration for practicing and teaching.
