Lawrence Jay
Lawrence Jay (LJ) has been practicing yoga for two decades and teaching for almost 15 years. His experience includes serving as faculty at some of the most prominent international yoga studios. He completed his first teacher training in 2007 with PureYoga Hong Kong's founding teacher, Patrick Creelman. Since then, LJ has accumulated thousands of hours of training with some of the world's most respected teachers, including John Friend, Ana Forrest, Andrey Lappa, Tara Judelle, Schyler Grant, Wim Hof for breathwork, Ellen Heed for anatomy studies, and Hugh Milne for craniosacral work.
In 2013, Lawrence opened Russia's first official Hot Yoga Studio, where he learned to speak Russian fluently, quickly becoming one of Russia's most popular teachers. Before Russia, he gained extensive experience teaching in various settings. His classes focus on creating a deep connection to the self through dynamic movement, emphasizing alignment and creative exploration. Lawrence encourages self-expression through yoga, breathwork, and meditation. He has coached individuals of all physical abilities, from 9-5 office workers to professional athletes, developing programs that enhance concentration, discipline, physical longevity, and, most importantly, quality of life.
