Michelle Timmins

Michelle’s yoga journey began with her first trip to India which created the foundation for meditation. She went on to study meticulously in Los Angeles with Bikram Choudry for several years. After a move to France, her attention turned to movement with breath. She leaned into the established practices of Scaravelli, Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga.
She certified to teach in 2005 and after opening, directing and a studio in the south of France for fifteen years she made a big leap to China to teach and study before making her home in Bali.
Her classes tend to be focused on acceptance, surrender and quality over quantity. She is known to be soft yet direct. She enjoys holding space for the student to discover their best teacher within. She enjoys being a lifetime student and refining her knowledge in order to serve and teach every individual in their own personal exploration from the inside out. Her experience of alignment, adjustment and care are a rare find.
